El Present Perfect Continuous tiene dos usos.

  • 1. el Present Prefect Continuous se usa para expresar que una acción que sucedió en el pasado está conectada ahora.
    I have been the Harry Potter books again, I am almost finished the last book.
  • 2. el Present Perfect Continuous se usa para expresar una acción que comenzó en el pasado y continúa ahora
    Don’t touch me! I have been running and am all sweaty.

 

¿Cómo construir el Presente Perfect Continuous?

  • Oraciones Afirmativas.
    I + have + been + verbo + ing + resto de la frase.
    I have been reading a lot of books lately.
    We, you, they + have +been + verbo + ing + resto de la frase.
    They have been running for an hour.
    He, she, it + is + has + been + verbo + ing + resto de la frase.
    She has been living in Dublin for a year.
  • Oraciones Negativas
    I + have + not (n’t) + verbo + ing + resto de la frase.
    I’m have not been looking at the news lately.
    We, you, they have + not (n’t) + verbo + ing + resto de la frase.
    They haven’t been running for an hour.
    He, she, it + has + not (n’t) + verbo + ing + resto de la frase.
    She hasn’t been living in Dublin for a long time.
  • Preguntas
    Palabra interrogativa + I + have + been + verb + ing + resto de la frase.
    When have I been thinking out loud?
    Palabra interrogativa + have + we, you, they, + been + verb + ing + resto de la frase.
    When have you been studding Spanish?
